Each year, Baltimore County Public Schools recognizes an outstanding senior from each high school who best represents the beliefs in the system’s character education program. Senior Zach Reise (Business Management and Finance) was nominated for his exemplary determination, strong work ethic, integrity, and responsibility.
According to Ms. Donna Murphy, Guidance Chair, “Zach has earned the respect of his teachers and classmates for his stellar academic performance and his ability to lead others in positive ways.” This year Zach serves as President of the Eastern Tech FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and he volunteers his spare time at his local branch of the Baltimore County Public Library.
In addition, Zach is a member of the National Honor Society, the National Social Studies Honor Society, and Eastern’s Varsity Golf Team. Zach will receive his award at the National Merit and Ethics Award Ceremony on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 6:30 p.m., at Loch Raven High School.
When asked how he felt about receiving this award, Zach said, “I am truly honored, and I am glad that I am an Eastern Tech Maverick.”
